We have been asked to create a documentary about Sunderland, both as a city, and some of it's history. Our documentary is targeted at all ages. I am working with my classmates Matthew and Daniel. Daniel will be cinematographer, Matthew will be director and location scouter and I will be providing the voiceovers. The plan was to gather quality footage on location We decided on this type of film because it is interesting to people who are unfamiliar with the city and it's history. Also people who are visiting could also view it to get some more information about the city. On another hand, it could be used in schools as it will be quite educational. We are doing this as a part of a media assignment. We had the choice between a music video, an interview or a documentary. We have watched the Netflix documentary 'Sunderland 'till I die' which is about sunderland's football team and how loyal the fans are. This work helps us because it was filmed in the city and it contains interviews. I liked that it was filmed in the city of Sunderland but I dislike the fact the fact that it is mostly about football as I am not a fan of the sport. 


Here is one of my favorite interviews, which will help and hopefully give me inspiration. 
The interview is when Inside The Ropes toured the UK and Ireland with The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels with the SOLD OUT Showstopper Tour. In this clip HBK talks his journey to his final match at Wrestlemania, how it came to be and if he's at peace with his decision.

Planning ahead for what we are going to do.

Documentary which will include history of Sunderland, facts about ww2 and ship yards.
Discuss and finish our reports and schedule for the videos.

February 13th 2019
Finished up report and started developing ideas for the future filming such as scenes, scripts, locations, etc.


Finish health and safety.

Finish up our preproduction for the documentary. Start filming.
